Author Signs In At Loch Ness Exhibition Centre

Award-winning television writer and producer Geoff Holder will be signing copies of his recently published book "The Guide to Mysterious Loch Ness and the Inverness Area" at the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre, Drumnadrochit, on Friday 20 June at 1 pm.

The book is a guide to everything supernatural, paranormal, folkloric, eccentric and, above all, mysterious that has occurred by the dark waters of Loch Ness and in the area surrounding Inverness.

With sections on Aleister Crowley, big cats, second sight, the exorcism of the Loch, folk magic, fairies, UFOs, Celtic saints, witches and ghosts - and, of course the strange history of the Loch's most famous resident - this is a fascinating introduction to the heritage of this part of Scotland.

Geoff Holder's previous titles include "The Guide to Mysterious Perthshire" and "The Guide to Mysterious Iona".

The Loch Ness Centre are proud sponsors of the new ICT Kids Club launching this Saturday versus Aberdeen FC. Nessie herself will be officially inaugurated as the Club mascot as from Saturday, and hopefully she will bring that extra piece of luck needed to gain Inverness's first win over their Northern rivals !!
Robbie Bremner of the Loch Ness Centre said , ' This is a great chance for all children in the Highlands to become involved with our premier football club. The ICT Kids Club package brings many benefits for the children with all proceeds going into youth development'.
Please go to the ICT web-site ( http://www.ictfc.co.uk/ ) for further details on how to join.
Nessie herself will also be available to appear at children's / adults functions, parties throughout the year. Please e-mail robbie@lochness.com for further details.
