Scottish Heraldry Specialists Coats of Arms Heraldic art and designs
Are your ancestors originally from Scotland, England, Ireland or Wales? Or are they from mainland Europe - Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain ...?
Here at the Ancestral Names Research Centre we have gathered over the years a considerable International Library of Arms for names covering not only Great Britain (UK) but most of the European Continent. So Scottish, English, Irish, Welsh, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish etc. - we can help!
Any enquiry is carefully researched for the origin of the name and if possible the first or original badge registered for that name. Skilled artists carry out the intricate work involved. An embroidered work is first drawn up by a staff artist in the size required and then sewn by our Embroidery ladies in their own homes. They use 22 carat gold and silver bullion thread to create works of enduring value.
Any calligraphy work is carried out by local artists working with specially designed parchment vellum. Such work naturally takes time and patience as well as considerable skill, as each item is custom made.
